I just came across this rather interesting story on the Huffington Post:
Barack Obama will be visiting China next week, and as this video report from Reuters shows, the Chinese are enthusiastic about Obama, if not in ways that always make immediate sense. For example, an artist in Beijing, Liu Bolin, has made a bronze sculpture of Obama, based on a Time magazine image of the president, that he lights on fire for three minutes at a time (He apparently hopes to sell it for $15,000.) While this--no pun intended--may seem inflammatory, Bolin says he doesn't mean for the piece, called "Burning Man Obama," to be seen as an attack: "I think it represents more his popularity... I think my piece represents more the fact that Obama's on fire," he said.
As we embark on a path towards the end of America and the emergence of global governance - a New World Order of the Ages, I kept thinking of the Phoenix Rising symbolism. The sacred 
mythological bird rising from the fiery ashes, representing the living and immortal Sun/Serpent God.
I couldn't but help to think of Lucifer, as well. You see, in the Quran, the angel Iblis also known as Lucifer disobeyed an order from Allah to bow to Adam and as a result was forced out of heaven and given respite until the day of judgment from further punishment. When Allah commanded all of the angels to bow down before Adam (the first Human), Iblis, full of hubris and jealousy, refused to obey God's command. Iblis saw Adam as being inferior in creation since he was created from clay, in contrast to Iblis, who was created of fire.
"It is We Who created you and gave you shape; then We bade the angels prostrate to Adam, and they prostrate; not so Iblis (Lucifer); He refused to be of those who prostrate." (Allah) said: "What prevented thee from prostrating when I commanded thee?" He said: "I am better than he: Thou didst create me from fire, and him from clay." - Quran 7:11-12
Phoenix, Lucifer, Serpent, Sun God,...? Hmmm... Sounds pretty much like they are all one and the same to me.
UPDATE: Lady Gaga In The Burning Furnace.Lady Gaga seems to be taking her masonic blend of art, fashion and music to the next level. In promotion for the annual Vogue December art issue, superstar photographer Annie Liebowitz shot her as a witch from the Hansel and Gretel story in a piece entitled Little Girl & Boy Lost with the ominous subtext: "Feed the Flames. Before the witch can cook Hansel and Gretel - whoosh - they push her into the oven and shut the door."

Here's more burning symbolism - this time from the hip-hop culture.Hardcore hip-hop artist, 50 Cent returns following a backlash over his pop-rap crossover hits, with a new album entitled Before I Self Destruct and an accompanying movie of the same name to boot with formulaic ferocious narratives of gangsterism - shootings, murder, death, drugs and destruction. The burning symbolism is etched all over the album's cover, as well as the promotional website - 50 Cent | Before I Self Destruct.
Is this symbolic of the crash of the American dollar and economy in preparation for the rising Phoenix?
